Chicago Teacher’s Strike 2016?

Could history be repeating itself in the coming months?

Many are asking the same question even with the first week of the new school year not yet over. Crisis articles abounding on Facebook feeds, one day rallies and no new fair contract agreement since June 30, 2015 have been casting it’s dark, overbearing shadow on the never-ending problem between Chicago Public Schools, Chicago Teacher’s Union and politics as usual in the state of Illinois.

One can only hope that it turns around, truly for the sake of the students. Because in the long-run, it’s the students that lose out the most.
